The Efflorescence

AP Limited Editions presents Efflorescence, crafted in the Chinkin technique of Japanese ornamental lacquer art, which is a wondrous technique where designs are meticulously carved onto Urushi lacquer and then gold and silver powder is sprinkled into the engraved sections. This technique requires steadfast concentration and excellent control of the fine chisels and instruments used for carving as there is absolutely no room for error. The most intricate detail of the Efflorescence is captured by the adept hand of the Master Chinkin Artist in a unique palette of pearlized gold.
